Into The Woods

HALO presents Stephen Sondheim’s treasured musical Into the Woods on Sullivan’s Island, in partnership with Battery Gadsden Cultural Center. Utilizing the spectacular architecture of an historic Battery, this Brothers Grimm-inspired story presents your favorite fairytale characters with a twist when their classic stories intersect. The venue will open to the audience at 6:30pm, and the performance begins at 7:30pm.

Into the Woods will be presented in its entirety, with one 15 minute intermission. The performance will conclude by approximately 10:30pm.

Free parking is available at Battery Thompson, Sullivan’s Island Elementary School, on side streets, as posted, and in public parking areas across Sullivan’s Island. Please do NOT park at the Post Office!

Yes! There is designated seating, ADA compliant bathrooms, and a drop-off area close to the seating area for those who need extra assistance.

We think so! It is our belief at HALO that live theatre is for everyone.

No! Although presented at an outdoor venue, HALO has transformed the Battery into a theatrical setting, complete with stadium seating and chairs!

Whereas furry friends are a big part of HALO, please leave them at home for Into the Woods.

No food this time around, but we’re always up for beverages! Please visit our beverage stations to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before the show and during intermission. You are welcome to take them to your seats, too!

You sure can! We have a few HALO items, including mugs, totes, posters, and facemasks, which will be available for purchase at our Patron Services desk. As always, we are building HALO to serve the needs of our community, so let us know what HALO merchandise you want to buy!
